Almost as good as the last one
If I was allowed to give a 4.5, I would; but I can't and it doesn't deserve a 4, so 5 it is. I had an old Tourmaster Saber that worked great through ~8 winters, but it was time to get a new jacket. I tried three other jackets, returning them. They were other Tourmasters and another brand. None fit right and one was listed as a winter jacket, was winter length but summer mesh. Then this one appeared on the site.

It's similar to the old Saber in warmth, the way the lining fits and the longer length (below waste). I'm living further north, both with darker winters and more overcast weather, so I went with the hi-viz viz this time, and so far I like it.

The only two problems aren't with fit, comfort or safety. The first is it comes with a little neck gator -- focus on the little. Far too low. I've unzipped it and will continue to use my larger, pullover gator to keep my neck and chin warm.

The second is that the Saber had a phone/tissue pocket between the velcro and the zipper, so I could get to it without unzipping the jacket. The pocket is still there, but the fools moved it inside the zipper, so it's pretty useless when you'd like to keep warm.

Those are the only problems and why I'd give it a 4.5. It it lasts another 8 years, I'll be happy.

Good fit, blocked the cold air. I like the way it feels.
