Shoei RF-1200 Marquez Black Ant Helmet
The Shoei RF-1200 Helmet was designed to be an industry leader in comfort, performance and protection. Shoei has reduced the weight of the RF-1200 by using a slimmer design and building a distinct line into the side of the helmet that also serves as an accent. As a result, the RF-1200 is lighter than any other Snell certified helmet in the current Shoei lineup. This distinct accent cut line widens the bottom of the helmet to help ease the process of putting the RF-1200 on or taking it off. Further advancing the comfort of the AIM+ shell is the industry leading four shell sizes that the Shoei RF-1200 comes in. The impact-absorbing dual liner consists of two layers incorporating different densities, helping to effectively balance the potential impact applied to the more rigid shell.
The RF-1200 will allow you to ride with confidence, freeing you to concentrate on the road and, most importantly, enjoy the ride.

-unfortunately it's much too noisy for me. Wasn't so much when first bought but now it's too much wind Roar even with all vents closed.
PROS: Good Visibility, Well vented, Gorgeous design, Compact Helmet, Comfortable
CONS: Wind Roar, Noisy
Went to ride and first thing I notice is that how good it fits. Real snug and the fabric inside is quite comfortable. Feels likes a high end lid just as the price suggests. Lightweight too.
I live in Panama where we have 90 degree weather year round which is why I wanted a helmet that would ventilate well due to heat. When I read the specs I thought this might be great... WRONG. Compared to my AGV K3 which is a 200 dollar helmet.. the ventilation is bad. While with the K3 my head and face keeps cool even at high temps with this new helmet I keep sweating and sweating due to the lack of air pumping in. I would certainly recommend for those cold weather riders but not for the heat.
Another thing I noticed was that the visors don´t seal as well(think it might be something related to mine I hope) but there is a lot of wind noise coming in which I really don´t like. Again my $200 AGV K3 does a much better job.
I´m a bit dissapointed because on looks wise it´s a stunner.. performance wise I´d give it a 5 out of 10.
PROS: Great fit and design, Lightweight
CONS: Wind Noise, Very Poor Ventilaton
PROS: Great snug fit, Does not fog up, Vents well
Its my daily use helmet and everytime I hit the canyons or the track and can not find anything wrong w it.
I recommend it 100% and you cant beat the prices cycle gear has to offer.
Shipping was fast and on time which is anotjer plus for me.
