Mixed bag
After 20,000 miles in my $25 (on sale) Bilt helmet, it was sadly time to replace it. I bought the Sedici Strada Carino. Upside: it is beautiful and excellent in rain and cold (almost no fogging), and very quiet. Downside: fit. European brands tend to be smaller and after trying one on, I upsized from M to L. It still felt snug, but I thought it was within the range of normal wearing-in. When I took it on the road, the front of my head started hurting after 50 miles. After 100 miles an unbearable pressure point developed near my hairline. I can't wear this helmet. Also, for an expensive helmet, some of the padding around the bottom is not very well attached.

PROS: Low noise, Separate Sun Shield, No fogging, Beautiful design

CONS: Padding Not Well Attached, Pricey, Runs very small

Whistling Noise
I bought this helmet as my first helmet. Whistling noise started immediately on the right side of the helmet. Sounds like when you leave the window cracked on a windy day. It's louder than my Bluetooth music. I messed around with the vents and visor, could not fix it. I took it back and they replaced the visor (we were thinking maybe the visor was warped). Still no good. Took it back again, one of the guys recognized the model and said that "Ohh yeah, those helmets whistle". I said "Whaaat?". They let me try on another helmet, same model. Took it around the block (didn't even go above 40mph) and this brand new one whistled too. Upset and Angry...guess I'm stuck with a whistling helmet. Hope I don't go deaf...

PROS: Lightweight, Cute

CONS: Whistling Noise, Wind Noise
