Sedici Rico Review
I bought a lesser quality jacket (by price) and returned it the same day as the nylon zipper was defective straight out of the bag. Spent a little more and selected this jacket for its better quality. Sedici went with all metal fittings with the exception of the liner-zipper so things STAY zipped and snapped. The quality is obvious. The quality of the leather is exceptionally good for a casual-wear, basic riding jacket with moderate protective capabilities. If you are seeking professional-level crash protection, look elsewhere. The liner (vest only) is apparently an afterthought insofar as providing warmth goes. It is very thin, (but well constructed) and does not provide enough additional warmth to justify having it in the jacket though it does provide several additional interior pockets. As with many jackets of this type it is cut in a rather trim European fit/style which may be a problem for larger, American bodies so DO try this jacket on before purchase! In all, the jacket is attractive but not flashy and very well constructed in every way. Wear this and you will look great on or off your motorcycle.

PROS: excellent quality, fine attention to detail, Excellent leather quality, Metal Zippers Snaps

CONS: Styled For Slender Bodies, Liner Is Too Thin

BEST USES: General Riding, Suitable For Casual Wear
Needs enough improvements to make me wish for another jacket
When I snap the neck, the wind presses the neck snap button into my throat, and I eventually have to open it up. In cold weather that lets more air in.

In hot weather, I wish there was zipper vents on the back sides and upper shoulder blade areas. I want to wear the jacket all the time for safety, but with no throughput of air, I can't during what is essentially 6 months of hot Texas weather.

The buttons are not good. The side buttons to keep it snug around the waist and keep cold air out, unsnap on their own. The buttons on the wrists also come open too easily, causing the same annoyance.

The liner comes out which makes it great for spring and fall down here, and it's an excellent quilted liner; lightweight and not bulky on top of my clothes. But, as wind comes into the sleeves first, I'd really like it if the liner included Sleeves, it's only a vest to keep your chest warm (which is important, but not a total solution).

I find comfort that there is CE rated armor on the elbows, shoulders and spine, and I like that it's removable. The armor is not real bulky either, so when I wear this jacket, though I feel the armor, it does not look like I'm wearing an armor-laden awkward jacket. It looks just like a great motorcycle jacket.

For the amount I paid, I'd wished I'd shopped a little more. I would like airflow, a line with sleeves, snaps that stay snapped, and some kind of redesign of the neck snap placement so the wind doesn't push it into my throat.

PROS: Good Fit Doesn't Ride Up, Great quality leather, Keeps Wind Out When Fits, Zippers Are Solid

CONS: Side Snaps Fail, No Throughput Air Vents, Liner Doesn't Cover Sleve

BEST USES: Spring And Fall Tx Rides, Moderate Cold Riding

Well worth the money
After weeks of trying on jackets I came across this one. It fit like a glove and it looks great. The armor is a plus and isn't bulky. Its great in cold weather without the need of layering. The zip in liner works great. I like its a vest liner without sleeves. If you need more warmth then its time to wear a insulated riding suit. This jacket keeps me comfortible down to 40 degrees. Removing the liner and its cool enough to wear in the upper 70s. Its a very nice quality leather. I chose this jacket over others that cost twice as much, so I feel the price is very fair. Great Jacket.

PROS: Comfort, Fit, Looks, Quality

CONS: None

Perfect for me
I really liked this jacket as soon as I saw it. The first was spot on for me. The front chest pocket is perfect for small things like a license and debit card.

I just crashed after three months of having this jacket.amazing protection. I wish I would've gotten a back insert.but not a scratch on me.

I will be buying another one since EMS cut mine off me.

Poor quality stitching.
They keep falling apart. I've had 5 replacement jackets so far and am going to need a sixth. Some for snap buttons coming. Some for outer stitching coming apart. Some for inner stitching coming apart and also missing Velcro on inner pockets. I would recommend a different model. Fortunately the customer service is a 5 star operation and they are always quick and happy to help.

Good leather jacket
Cruiser rider with a range of 100 miles round trip a day in at 6am to 8pm in socal, this leather jacket paired with a normal hoody was a pretty good combo to battle against wind and cold during my commute. However small details changed my decision to keep this jacket and swap it for another. For instance the cuffs on the sleeves are quite large and do not let your gloves fold over the cuffs which in turn lets air flow through, the neck button is difficult to button, and the liner is just a vest. Other than that, great jacket, not too bulky, and the leather itself feels already broken in and flexible. It does a great job resisting wind.

Good quality, great price.
I was looking for a new jacket with a modern look at a reasonable price. I ride everyday and this jacket more than fulfilled my expectations.
