Good temperature control, poor fit
Cyclegear was awesome about getting my old jacket swapped out with no questions asked. I brought in the old one, showed them where it broke, and they immediately directed me to the rack where I could pick up my replacement. I was fitted and checked out in under 20 minutes. That's the kind of warranty support and customer service that keeps people coming back.

PROS: Protection, Waterproof, Warm, Ventilation

CONS: Poor Fit, Quality control

BEST USES: Commuting, Cold weather

This jacket looks and feels great. Love the big front pockets. I can easily tuck my wallet and iphone6 plus with ease.

I'm happy so far with it.
I use it for all my riding. Fit was fine for me but I am 6'3" and have a long torso. I mentioned the jacket is warm but it will likely be very hot in mild weather even with the liner out. I rode a couple of hours at highway speeds in the mid 30's and was really comfortable. It is also very waterproof.

PROS: Okay Venting, Good Fit, very warm

CONS: Zippers could be better

BEST USES: Commuting, Cold Adventure Rides, Cold Day Rides

Great Jacket. Improved from previous version.
Product looks great. Already excellent venting in previous model improved with this one. Good insulated liner in previous model improved to full jacket liner. Much better. Shoulder accents of previous model changed to less attractive but more flexible elasticized gussets. Front zip Velcro now has snaps all the way down as a reinforcement and venting option. It's nice to just not worry about rain. My old version kept me bone dry for hours of rainy riding at a time. I expect this one will too. Now for reality: waterproof jackets, vented or not, are too hot for moderate or warm weather. These are for 70's and below. Above that you'd need mesh or an unfaired bike to be comfortable. This jacket runs at least one size smaller than it is marked. For kids, it may fit, but for an adult, order one size larger. Lifetime guarantee. What's not to like?

PROS: Appearance, Venting, Waterproofing, Looks, Insulation, pocket placement

CONS: Runs size small, Does not run true to size

BEST USES: Cool and cold weather, Sport Touring

Great price for what you get!
The jacket runs small about one size. I'm a medium so I got the large and it fits great! Lots of extra stuff, cell phone pocket, straps to keep the wind out, and a removable liner for warmer days. The jacket feels great when riding, doesn't ride up and the sleeves are long enough to fit over gloves and creates a nice seal to block out the weather. Keeps out the wind but haven't used it in the rain yet. I love the way it looks and it feel even better knowing it was under 200.

PROS: size runs small, Looks great, Great Riding Fit

BEST USES: 70-35, Best In The Cold, All weather

OKAY, You Get What You Pay For
I purchased this jacket for a trip across the country on the Trans America Trail, mainly because I am cheap and this jacket fit the bill, at least it did on paper.
I am 6'4 215, I typically wear a Large shirt/jacket, so that is what I ordered. The jacket fit in the body, but was incredibly tight through the arm pits and arms even w/the liner removed. I exchanged it for an XL which was big in the body, but the sleeves were long enough and had room across the shoulders and arm pits to outreach my arms. The collar was soft, but rather large and did not fit snugly around my neck allowing air and everything else (rain, snow, mud, rocks, and dust) to fill the jacket.
Overall the jacket appeared to be of good quality, it had most of the necessary features I was looking for (water proof, breathable, warm, storage, removable liner, inexpensive, removable pads, etc...). The main zipper was difficult to manipulate, and the other zippers are small and constantly got hung up on themselves.
The true test came on the trip were I experienced rain/snow for two weeks straight. You can say something is water proof all you want, but when you are riding off road (constantly changing your seating position) all gaps in your gear are exposed immediately.
Luckily this jacket is tough and thick (also a bit heavy). It did not keep me dry 100% of the time (probably not even 60% of the time), but it did keep me warm and protected from rocks, thorns, and wrecks.

PROS: warm, Thick, Versitile

CONS: Not 100 waterproof, fitment, Zippers

BEST USES: Cool to cold weather, Adventuring

will be returning due to stuck zippers
Once I got it home I realized that all of the venting zippers get stuck.
It takes a lot of work to get them to release and then happens again almost instantly.

CONS: Venting Zippers Stick

Great comfortable, textile jacket
I love this very stylish textile jacket. with all the liners and waterproofing it has served me quite well. It is not the most abrasive resistant, i found this out when i dropped my bike a few months back, the arm that struck the ground first has worn threw but the rest of the jacket has held up remarkably well.

PROS: Stylish, Comfortable, Air flow, All Weather, Lots of pockets

CONS: Zippers stick

BEST USES: All weather riding, All Wether
