Liked them better than the Alpine MX1
I was in need of new riding shoes and was pretty set on Alpine Stars MX1...luckily Cycle Gear had their Sedici brand and the Stars in my size, so I could do a direct comparison. I was surprised the the Sedici's fit me better. That, plus the sale price ($103) vs. MX1 at $159 PLUS the Sedici lifetime warranty forced me to choose the Sedici's.

I have used the Cycle Gear lifetime warranty a few times on Sedici gloves, and that in itself is awesome...

I wear these shoes every day - they're comfortable on all day long, and feel as comfy as high-top sneakers. Lots of padding, and my feet don't sweat. (I live in HOT S. Florida). Traction seems good, but haven't been in the rain yet. I love the zippered boot - goes on and off quickly.

PROS: Ample Padding, Durable, Fast On And Off, Comfortable Fit, Stylish, Lightweight, Good Traction

BEST USES: Casual Wear, Long Rides

Slick look great feel
I served 8 years active duty. These boots are super light compared to a lot of boots I put my foot in. I have a wide fit and the first time I put these on I felt immediate comfort. I love the black and red look. Makes them pop. I might have to shine these babies up. I love the set up with the internal zipper with the protective velcro flap. I removed my chain guard so that plays a huge factor. Like I said, my feet are wide and these feel awesome. Shifting is a breeze with these and now I can kick mirrors off with ease. The ONLY reason I got these boots in the first place is that they have a life time warranty. For the affordability, looks, and life time warranty. You would have to be a serious lush to complain about these boots. Tell me, what other brands stand behind products like this in the motorcycle gear market? Two thumbs up- Siskel and Ebert style.

High quality, perfect for what I want.
Mountain riding where walking may be involved, is how I wear/use these shoes.
Very comfortable and keep my feet super dry in the rain.
Not one bad thing I have to say about them.

Excellent Choice
I bought these boots to wear instead of my high top boots for the occasional quick trip to town. Have had them for several weeks now and fit my purpose to a TEE. I probably will wear them on longer rides they work so well. I must confess, however, that they require a break-in period. Be patient. Mine, after a couple of weeks now, are as comfortable as I could want. If you need a pair of low cut boots, these are reasonably priced and very comfortable. And I like their looks, too.

Nice Short Boots
I really like these boots. The only reason I give them 4 stars (if 4.5 was available, I would have done that) is that I have flat feet and the boot has a little more room that I'm going to have to use an insole to take up. Otherwise they are very comfortable and work well for walking once off the bike. I also have some older Alpinestars SMX boots and although these aren't quite as comfortable, they are much easier to deal with if I want to run some errands but still be protected. For the price I paid, couldn't be happier, as they were $60.00 less than the Alpinestar equivalent and felt almost as good. Used to use basketball shoes for short rides, but with these there is no reason to continue to do so.

PROS: Good For Walking, Stylish, Lightweight

BEST USES: Running Errands, Long Rides, Casual Wear

Great for the price
I use these boots to ride to work and work in all day. Also for short local trips into the mountains nearby. They are comfortable, yet sturdy enough that they should protect my feet and ankles well in a crash.
I would prefer if they didn't have toe Sliders. They would look better, and I don't need them for street use

PROS: Good Traction, Comfortable Fit
