Thermic technology works to reduce the effects of wind chill while maintaining the riders body temperature. This is done thanks to a 100% windproof mid-layer membrane that sits between a water resistant outer layer and a brushed fleece internal layer. The ability to not only block wind but also retain body heat makes Sedici Close Thermic the ultimate in cold weather base layers.
Helps to keep your core temperature up by reducing wind chill

This is a great product. So far I've only tested it down to about 45 degrees. But I'm guessing when I was going over rivers it was down lower than that. I didn't feel a thing, it felt as if I was ridding around in 80 degree weather.
Sedici close thermic long underware is great as a mid layer. I just wish they had added 2 more inches to the sleeves. The length of the shirt should be a few inches longer so you can tuck the shirt into your pants. All in all great thermals for the price, great quality and material used is soft.
I have a couple of different mid-layers I use and I decided to add this Sedici option my collection. The wicking thick softshell material is only on the front of the garment. The back is a different material. The softshell material is actually not that breathable. I start to feel sweat and moisture develop on the inside even though I am wearing a wicking base layer. The soft shell material feels very sturdy, but it is pointless if I it does not wick and breathe well. Overall meh.
I bought this based on the description and pictures, however I´m really dissapointed because the description is not very detailed on the types of fabric used on the different sections of this shirt. The shoulders, upper part of the sleeves and front of the shirt are made of a water resistant layer that sits on top of the brushed fleece, everything is fine with this part and works great, and the pictures made you think the complete shirt is made this way, however the back of the shirt and the low part of the sleeves are only brushed fleece that in no way are going to resist any water. The moment you stop riding, the moment you get your back soaked. This defeats the whole purpose of buying it.
I use this to commute at night, on top of my tshirt and below of my revit airvawe jacket, and the buttonin the neck is kind of big, and it is really unconfortable when you put this one and also the one in the jacket. A full zipper might have been a better option.
Also as another reviewer mentioned, the sleeves might have been a couple of inches longer for extra comfort.
If the shirt had been all of the water resistant layer with the other fabric below, it would have been perfect for me. Now I´m looking for something with these features.
This shirt is a joke. Tight across the shoulders, can't reach the bars. If you zip up the neck, you can't look down. No snaps or zippers at wrists, just tight. Open mesh on the back. Short waist, non-adjustable cinch. Windproof? Not a bit. I just threw my money away on this one. Whoever designed this has never ridden a motorcycle in my opinion.
