Roland Sands Designs ICON RS Signature Series Watch

In a time of pocket sized screens and wearable "devices", the classic wrist watch seems to be fading into obscurity. Roland Sands Designs has a reputation built on their proud penchant for the style and craftsmanship of days gone by, and a wrist watch stands the test of time. 

The ICON Signature Series Watches were developed to give your wrist some signature RSD style and the ability to tell your eyeballs what time it is. A flat, mineral crystal is scratch resistant to match the rugged, minimalist design of the round case. The Chicago-based tannery Horween supplies the calfskin strap. The strap attaches to the rounded straight-style lugs with quick-release spring bars that are removable without tools from the underside of the strap. Miyota, a sub brand of Japanese watchmaker Citizen, assembles the watch's 2415 movement in Japan. The quoted accuracy of this unit is +/- 20 seconds per month and features an estimated battery life of three years. The movement hums along at a quartz-regulated 32,768Hz.
