Hotwired Heated Pants Liner

The Integrated Heating System eliminates redundant cables by the use of a Y-connector (sold separately) to connect jackets and pants. It is strategically located throughout the garment to create the most effective heating performance providing gentle and evenly distributed warmth to your entire body.

The Hotwired collection allows for garments and accessories to be inter-connected to provide whole body warmth and comfort. Using the latest ultra-fine technology - so thin it can barely be detected within the garment liner - the micro-alloy heating elements produce a gentle warmth reaching a maximum temperature in only seconds.

  • Combine with the Hotwired Jacket Liner using the Hotwired Y-connector (sold separately)
  • Four temperature levels can be achieved, maintained and managed with the use of the included Hotwired variable temperature controller

  • Quilted lining with comfort insulation

I would buy this product again.
The sizing chart on the website is wrong. I bought the size that the chart recommended and it's too small and tight. The zipper has already broken and the crotch is already busting open. But the heating element works very well. I am making do with this product, but a larger size would have suited me better. The cut for the pants for a large man looks like it suited for a sin person. Take into consideration that a large man needs wide cut not straight slim cuts. Also had to buy 24 inch extension cords so that I can operate the controllers from under the jacket without having to pull over raise my jacket up set the temperature and keep riding.

Hot Pants…really
These are great and extra warm around town or long rides. You almost can't have them on High. I've used them on Low or Med. most of the time, and they keep me very warm.

BEST USES: Street, Temps Down To 30's, Long Rides

Great product
Purchased the liners at my local Cycle Gear and set up the battery connector that night. The next day we did a 400 mile group ride with temps between 37 and 45. I was warm the entire time. My bike has the heated grips and my jacket won't take the heated liner so I can't speak to them, but the pant liners were one of the best investments I have made in a long time.

Not just the normal heated pants liner
These heated liners are the best part of making a chilly day go away and puts your mind on the road instead of the weather.

Heated Pants Liner
I was surprised at the wiring. My jacket is many years old, probably more than 15 and the heating wires are so obvious. The wires in the pants are not even noticeably. Also the pants are so lightweight and easy to wear. I have always thought that I did not need the pants. Now that I have them, how wrong I was. They are terrific! What a difference they make. I plug them in using the Y adapter so the jacket and pants adjust together. My gloves adjust on their own. I recommend these heated pants! Cycle Gear is a great place to buy stuff.

Cold Legs no more
Easy to put on due to the zippered leg openings. The pants have a separate controller (from the jacket) which helps customize heat application. Easy "Hook-up" to the Hotwired insoles and jacket liner. A good product that improves the comfort of the ride.

PROS: Lightweight, Easy To Use, Easy To Get Into, Legs Stay Warm

CONS: Controller Use Awkward

BEST USES: Street, Long Rides

very disappointed in the pants liner. The waist gets very warm and the rest of the liner does nothing for my legs so they are still cold.

PROS: Easy To Use, Lightweight

CONS: Legs Not Warm At All, Only Kept Waist Warm

Good Heat
The pants get toasty warm along the areas of the quads and butt. I didn't feel much down on my shins or anywhere else. Overall, the heat is adequate for cold days. I rode at a low 40 degree day for about 25 minutes. It was very comfortable.

Nice on the legs
I wrote a review of the jacket and the same applies to the pants.
The one thing I forgot to mention is that it would be really nice if this system were compatible with a lithium ion battery so that you could use the products both on and off the bike.
