Indispensable
Or at least some form of heated glove is. Only drawback is only on or off, no heat setting. Can ride comfortably in the low 20's and low 30's. Once it gets up to 50 you have to unplug as they're too warm.

Comfortable and warm front and back
Buying these is an upgrade from my original Gerbing version 1 heated gauntlets. The newer microwire versions have heat on both sides of you hands. This glove is both warm and comfortable with the added benefit of a touch sensitive index finger. You cannot feel the microwire elements, but I'm not sure the finger tips are adequately wired. At 25 degrees and 65 mph my finger tips felt much cooler than with my old gloves. Still I could probably turned them up more, but the rest of you hand would be sweating in no time. These do require a heat controller and are intended to be part of a heated garment system. Mine plug into a full Gerbing jacket liner that in turn has an external Gerbing dual controller connected. These are not intended to be connected directly to your bike although they would work they would likely be too ho. A heat controller is needed, any heat controller for motorcycle 12 volt heated gear should work fine to control these. At clearance price these are a steal that will last years.

is everything needed to use the gloves included?
A shopper on Oct 18, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes and no... they come with all the wiring so they can go straight to the battery, but they will be on full blast heat. With the controller you can set it however you like, and turn them off with a switch, but it's sold separately.
Are the GERBINGS GLOVES compatible with HOTWIRED HEATED LINER?
A shopper on Nov 1, 2016
BEST ANSWER: They should be as they use the same 12v wiring harness.
