Best bang for your buck
This zip up is a great base layer for Wisconsin fall rides. Very fitted, but not too tight. I have a sport bike with almost no windscreen, blocks wind excellently. Wear a t shirt underneath and a riding jacket over. I recommend Freeze Out products to everyone. For the cost, it doesn't get any better. Very good quality, lots of small details that provide an excellent finish.

PROS: Lightweight, Easy To Use, Versatile, Inexpensive, Durable

Good casual wear also
In temps 60 degrees or under, wind chill factors are 20 degrees less or colder at road speeds, so a thermal base layer under the Gilet helps additionally. I wear a good leather jacket over the Gilet and a thermal base long john top and bottom, for long or local rides.

PROS: Versatile, Comfy With Base Layer, Good Windbreaker, Easy To Use, Lightweight

CONS: Binds At Arms With Jacket, Bids At Elbows In Jacket

BEST USES: Street, Coolcold Temps Wear, Cool Or Cold Temp Wear, Long Rides

Great Product for an excellent price.
My husband and I each bought one piece - to try it out. I bought this - even though it's the men's version, so that we could both wear it. I found it extremely warm - so much so I probably could have worn just this and not my leather jacket on 1 January when we went for our ride. It was in the 40's at the time, and I'm very "cold natured" and yet I was extremely warm. We purchased this in the store, rather than online, mostly so we could make sure the pieces (one pant, and one jacket) would fit each of us and it does. I'd recommend this product to anyone who doesn't like the cold, but doesn't want to stop riding in the winter! It's awesome.

PROS: Durable, Easy To Use, Very warm, Lightweight, Versatile

Cold Weather Jacket Extender
Purchased one for myself last year. Found it worked extremely well on my daily commute when the normal morning low for my area dropped from the mid 30's to the low 20's for a few days. Added this under my jacket and stayed warm. Bought one for my wife. Both now live in the saddlebag or trunk topper bag for ready access and regular use from October to March or April. Great accessory that enhances the temperature range of an existing jacket without adding raingear as a top layer in the sunshine. Very compact and stow nicely. Just get the zipper to be a normal configuration!

PROS: Compact, Lightweight, Durable

CONS: Wrong Way Zipper

I wore mine for the 1st time today... left the house on my SPYD3R at 33F degrees... kept me nice and cozy... one issue with this: THE ZIPPER CLASP IS ON THE WRONG SIDE... WHA'SUP'WIT'DAT...????
other than that, it's a great item for cold riding...

PROS: Versatile, Durable, Lightweight

CONS: Difficult To Use

Great jacket
This jacket makes me look good, at least that's what my wife said!! It is great for temperatures in the 40's and 50's. I rode with it the other day, under my riding jacket. Temps were in the low 50's and I was very comfortable. Might use it for skiing too!

PROS: Fits Well, Slenderizing

CONS: don't have any

BEST USES: As a regular jacket, Under layer

Best Product Ever
I use the product for weather protection anytime the temperatures dip below 50 degrees. It is lightweight and easy to pack but stops heat loss and wind penetration better than any product I have tried in the past 45 years

Great Product
This product is great. Does exactly what it is suppose to. I got it on sale and it was well worth even the full price as opposed to the alternative of freezing while I ride. The removable sleeves are a nice feature as this allows for more adaptability especially when combined with my textile jacket that has a removable wind resistant inner lining.

PROS: Versatile, Lightweight, Easy To Use

Love this product. .
This product works great, 75 mph on the freeway at 55 degs, super warm and I just had the jacket on. Love this product, I also have the undershirt, long johns, socks, baklava and face mask. The face mask is a tad tight, so I have to do a little engineering to make it comfortable. Other then that great product.

PROS: Durable, Versatile, Lightweight, Easy To Use

CONS: Difficult To Use, Zipper Is On The Left

BEST USES: Long Rides, Off-Road

Is this meant to be worn next to the skin (with other clothes over it) or over other clothes?

BEST ANSWER: Both of us wear this as a liner over a tee shirt and under a jacket and it works great. I do not think the zipper close to the skin would be too comfortable. We pack this and if it gets cooler and we have a lighter jacket we put it on
