At 5' 8", a trim build 155 lbs, and a 31" waist, the 48 fits true for me. All the armor falls in place where it's supposed to, and doesn't move one bit. Having worn the Zen Evo and the Assen, the Razon only feels SLIGHTLY not as tight, yet still hugs my body in it's protective embrace. The full sleeve liner feel great against the skin, and provides a surprising level of wind protection. I'm utterly comfortable at 60F with only a t-shirt, and can push it down to a short commute in the mid 40s with an additional layer. NOTE - because the Razon's fit is 90% like a race-cut jacket, you'd be hard pressed to get more layers in there if you go true to size. If you're looking for a higher warmth level, I would recommend going one size up so you can layer more, or going with the non-perf version.
It remains to be seen how this all does when the weather gets warmer, but I am currently anticipating that this jacket will work well up to 90F with the liner out. The perforation DEFINITELY WORKS; I know because with no thermal on a 52F day, I definitely felt the additional chill!!!
The only gripe I have is not even really a gripe, but a side effect of how the Razon was designed. That beefy armor that is provided goes ALL THE WAY down the forearms to the wrist of the sleeve, so much so that the sleeve cuffs are fairly rigid. I use AStar Valparaisos for colder weather riding, and prefer wearing my long gloves OVER the sleeves - this is a CHORE for those gloves with this jacket. It is much more suited for gloves with w WIDE GAUNTLET like the AStars SP-2s.
But like I said, it's barely a negative. I imagine a lot of people accessorize around the jacket, not the other way around. LOL. That nitpick addressed, I cannot laud enough praise on the Razon! It's a perfect jacket for those needing the protection of a Power Ranger without wanting to look like one. :)
PS - It's no joke when people say how "intoxicating" the smell of high grade Dainese leather is! There are times I look like I should be in a Gain laundry detergent commercial!!! Hahaha
