Awesome Jacket
I really like this jacket. It's a great value for the price. The sleeves are the perfect length when I lean forward and dont expose my wrists. The single zipper zip out liner works very well on the cooler riding days and easily zips out for the warmer riding weather.
I especially like the easy access pocket for your wallet or cellphone.
I have to give this product a thumbs up.
The only thing that might be a negative is if you ride in temperatures above 85 degrees, I prefer my more vented and lighter weight apparel for those really warm days.

PROS: Perfect length, Well placed pocket, Single zipper zip liner, Excellent PriceValue, Sleeves Just right

BEST USES: Wet weather, Temp Range 80 less, Sport Touring

Very good jacket, happy after a year
My inlaws got this jacket for me for Christmas of 2013 so I've had it just over a year now. It serves as my cold-weather jacket as I have other jackets for warmer weather.

I like the jacket a lot -- it has lots of pockets and has proven to be both comfortable, durable and warm. The only drawbacks I see are that the zipper is a female or British zipper but I've gotten used to it.

I would prefer velcro cuffs but the buttons work well. I would also prefer to have a hi-viz color option, however, the reflective piping is, according to people who see me in daylight and at night, very noticeable.

This year the inlaws got me the Storm pants. I've only ridden with them twice for a total of about 320 miles but I like that they zipper to the back of this jacket and work well together. Look for a review on them next year.

PROS: Stylish, Warm, Comfortable, Weather Resistant

BEST USES: Bad Weather, Long Rides

Great Purchase!
On our annual New Year Day ride was the first time to use the BILT Typhoon Jacket, Pants and Pro Tour Books purchase in December. I started off at 27 degrees for over an hour ride with very high humidity. The only clothing under the Typhoon was my street cloths, fitted Under Armour ColdGear and heavy socks and stayed comfortable getting to the destination. On the way back about 12 miles from home it started raining fairly hard and fortunately the roads hadn't started freezing over. When I got home the whole front of the bike, my knees down and shoulders and arms not covered by the fairing was a sheet of ice and I was still warm enough to take the dog for a walk. It was easy to take off and put on at my destination to relax in my street cloths. Great Purchase!

I would buy this product again and again
Bought this a few weeks ago and couldn't be happier! Before this, I was wearing 3-5 layers to keep warm and dry. With this jacket and the accompanying waterproof warm pants, I now only wear one layer underneath and am staying warm and dry. Super value, quality made and will happily buy again!

PROS: Well Made, QUALITY PRODUCT, Super value

CONS: None yet

Impressed
This is a great jacket, keeps me dry in heavy rain. Vents work great over 45 mph, in really hot weather, the sleeves don't have much airflow. I am very pleased with the quality and since I got it on sale, I think the value was excelent.
Do wish it cam in blue to match my KLR 650.

PROS: Well Insulated, Comfortable, Weather Resistant, Abrasion Resistant, Stylish

Great product
Bought this because as a new rider I needed a durable & comfortable motorcycle jacket. This seems to fill the bill. Comfortable, looks good, and appears that it will provide some safety protection (thought I hope never to test this). Like most coats and jackets with a removable lining, it's easier to take it out than put it back in -- two buttons at the bottom of each sleeve mean you have to be careful not to twist the sleeve lining 1/2 turn. Main body of lining goes in with a very substantial & easy to use zipper. As with most wearables at Cycle Gear, these tend to run small. Try it on for size before you buy.

PROS: Removable Lining, Stylish, Well Insulated, Comfortable, Weather Resistant

BEST USES: Long Rides, Casual Wear, Bad Weather, Safety

Good jacket for the money
I ordered an XL, it was too small. I sent it back and got an XXL. I've never wore a XXL in anything, so check the size chart carefully. The exchange was handled quickly and without issue. The jacket is a good item for the money, I plan to wear it in cold weather, many reviews state it is too bulky to wear above 50 degrees. I don't know if I will pack it on long trips, it takes up a lot of space in the bags. Great for local cold weather trips.

PROS: Well Insulated, Weather Resistant, Abrasion Resistant

CONS: Too Heavy

Perfect for Me
Bought this jacket last year and did a very cold ride to Georgia from Windsor Ontario (Detroit for my USA friends) in December. Kept me dry in the heavy rains in the Tenn. mountains and warm in the below freezing temps coming back through Ohio and Mich. Not 100% waterproof, but it was heavy and freezing rain. Lots of waterproof pockets, fit true to size. 5,10' 185 Pounds Large fits perfect. Don't think this is a great hot weather summer jacket or if you live down south. But I would recommend this to anyone. Best jacket I have owned. Prefer is the wrist closure was velcro as opposed to snaps, but no big deal.

Great Gear
Purchased Jacket and Pants for 3 day ride with possible rain, snow and cold weather. Weather ranged from 30-50 degrees over 3 days. With a long sleeve shirt under neath and the the jacket's inner liner, I stayed warm the entire trip. The pants made a great combination for cold weather riding. I had flannel lined jeans on. Never cold, almost to warm. Made a 40 degree day feel like 70's. Rode for about 15 minutes in the rain. Stayed dry!

PROS: Warm, price, Comfort, Style, Windproof

BEST USES: Cold weather, Snow, rain

Well worth your time to look at this
I purchased mine from the Fullerton store as I wanted to make sure I got a good fit. The jacket was my normal size "L", but the pants were a little small so I went up a size to accommodate wearing them over jeans etc.

PROS: Good Fit, Easy to addremove liner, Good wear, Warm, Durable
