PROS: Survived Crash, Helmet Did Its Job
PROS: Light Weight, Locking visor, great ventilation, Quiet
PROS: Very Comfortable, Drop down sun visor, Light, Good aerodynamics, Airflow
CONS: Thin Shield
While it fits well and has a wide field of vision, the downsides to this helmet have led me to relegate it to the 'extra' shelf.
First off, it is the noisiest full-face helmet I've owned in 30+ years of riding. The latch that is supposed to keep the faceshield closed is cheap and consistently doesn't want to lock into place. The internal sunshield has terrible optics, especially on the sides, interfering with peripheral vision. When closed, the face shield fogs up immediately every time you stop in any temp under 65.
The shell and wind resistance seem good, but with the cheap fittings I question whether it actually meets the claimed safety standards.
Even if you are a new rider, do yourself a favor and spend an extra $100 or $200 more for a quality helmet; your hearing, eyes and brain will thank you.
PROS: Weight, Graphics, price
CONS: Fogs up easily, Noisy, Poor Optics On Sunshade
Would say it's a great helmet in my price range.
Cons- first one would allow water in through the shield gasket during torrential rains and the sunshade would fall when I hit bumps hard. The replacement one fixed both issues. Only other complaint is that it's noisier than it should be. It seems the lip at the bottom is creating turbulence leading to noise rather than preventing it. Doesn't buffet in the wind which is great.
PROS: Durable finish, Good Ventilation, Decent fit, Flip Down Sunshade
CONS: Noisier Than It Should Be
BEST USES: Recreational riding, Commuting, Long Trips
PROS: Aerodynamics, Flip Shield Is Stable, Comfortable, Stylish, Ventilation is good
CONS: Padding Pulls Out, Noise, Weight
You can't get anything better for the price!
PROS: cheap, Ventilated, Comfortable
