bad gloves
I purchased these friday on a ride to San Antonio from beaumont. Before the rain started the insulation was keeping my hands warm. Product was supposed to be waterproof bit after 150miles in drizzly/rainy conditions they were saturated. I had to stop every 40ish miles back to houston to let my hands warm up on the way back. I stoped in Houston and exchanged them for a different brand. Cycle Gear does stand by there satisfaction guarantee.

Not waterproof
Took a trip to the Isle of Man. Hired bikes in London and rode to Heysham for the ferry. It rained the first 3 hours of the trip and my brand new Bilt Hurricane gloves were anything but waterproof. Soaked through about an hour on the road. Although when dry they were comfortable to ride long hours.

PROS: Comfortable warm

CONS: Not waterproof

Good Glvoes but...
Got these for Christmas and have used them a couple of times in the rain. They kept my hands dry and warm to the point of being hot in temps that were in the high 30s-low 40s but work well into the 50s. Their fit is weird, though. They fit the width and index nad middle fingers fine, but thumb, ring and little fingers are too long (I have 2XLs). I've tried XLs on but they were tight in the hands and OK in the fingers. Never had a problem with gloves before. It would be best to try them on first if you can. In looking at them this morning, I thought the knuckles didn't look very natural, too bumpy and arthritic looking, but that's probably just me. My wife ordered them online and was less than impressed with Cycle Gear's customer service (though they've always been very helpful with me in the stores...I've never purchased online from them myself).

PROS: Keep hands dry, very warm

CONS: Fit a little off, Hard to fit over sleeves, Knuckles look funny

BEST USES: Moderately wet weather, Cold weather

Solid after a year and a half
I've owned these gloves for a year and a half and they have held up very well. They are actually waterproof, well-insulated, and provide a solid grip.

Downsides are: It's a bulky glove, given the insulation. Since it's non-permeable, you'll sweat in it after awhile. It's definitely a winter/foul weather glove.

PROS: Comfortable, Well Padded, Weather Resistant

CONS: Bulky

BEST USES: Long-Distance Traveling, Bad Weather

Winter gloves
These gloves are really good for the cold and the wet, but they just didnt fit me all that well. I found the fingers a bit overstuffed with insulation to fit my big fat hands. In all fairness, they'd probably fit someone with normal sized hands and not somebody like me with thick hands and fingers. I like them, but find them a bit tight. They certainly are warm and dry.

PROS: Really durable, Good Value, Nice styling, Excellent construction

CONS: Fit wasn't great for me

Really more than expected
Rode from Cleveland, Ohio to Charlotte, NC in 50-60 degree weather and rain. My hands never got cold or wet. The gloves also helped quell the high frequency vibration through the grips.

PROS: Comfortable, Well Padded, Shock Resistant, Weather Resistant

BEST USES: Long-Distance Traveling, Bad Weather

Great bang for the bucks
The gloves work good for weather conditions around 40-60degrees. Anything below that and you finger-tips get too cold. Anything above that and your hands start to get moist or sweaty.

PROS: Snug Fit, Comfortable, Well Padded, Warm, Shock Resistant

Pretty satisfied
Riding in high 30s and low 40s at highway speeds are no problem. The only problem is that they're too thick in the palm/fingers for me so it reduces the feedback from the throttle in the twisties.

Nice Gloves
If you intend to use these with liners, make sure you get one size larger for better fit. the cuff is a little undersized for larger jackets.

PROS: Snug Fit
