Great Modular helmet
The helmet overall fits as expected. It is breaking in nicely. Several detents are pretty tight, but expect them to wear in. there are three things that I noticed. 1 - The front vent closes up and down and it is right where I put my finger when I go to open the face, so I open the front vent every time I flip it up. 2 - I noticed a hum when I turn my head to the left, its easy to re-create, just haven't found what is causing the noise. 3 - its winter and with a bulky jacket and riding with Apes, I tend to flip the drop down sun visor up when I head check to the left. I don't think this would happen when not wearing a jacket. Otherwise very impressed with the helmet so far.

One HD Dyna riders experience...
The modular helmet was at the top end of my budget but I believe worth it, here's why:1. Well balancedWith the helmet in the down position, I felt little weight difference from my entry level full face HJC (about 10 years old). For obvious reasons, even though this is DOT rated in the up position, its top heavy when flipped up.2. QuietI ride a 2011 FXDWG with no windshield and aftermarket Vance and Hines long shot pipes. Test rode this helmet for an hour in varying speeds (0-70 mph) on an extremely windy day and this helmet was quiet. I've got slight ringing in my right ear and had zero issues with this helmet, even with all vents open.3. Easy to CleanJust easy to pull apart and clean. Bout it.4. Wide viewThe stock visor provides a clear and wide view. Slightly better than my old entry level full face HJC.5. AerodynamicsEven turning my head to check blind spots, I heard no whistling common of many modulars. Was easy to turn my head in any direction with complete comfort and little to change the noise level.6. Room for your glassesnuff said. The "I'm not sure" and "I wish" list:1. While the flip down sun screen is nice in function and has full coverage, I wish the lens was a bit darker in its tint. Just not dark enough for my preference.2. Airflow is adequate for a 70 degree North Carolina day. I'm not sure how it will be on a 90 degree day with 80% humidity. It already feels a little stuffy due to the flip down face being so close to my mouth and nose.3. I'm not sure how the anti fog lens will work when at speed. Wearing the helmet inside when I test fit after delivery fogged up the lens pretty quick.4. I wish the front visor locked in a smaller "city mode" position. By that I mean while riding I occasionally open the visor to let increased air in the helmet. The first position for the visor is a bit big and blows all air directly into my eyes.

Can the visor be flipped up?
Gerard Q on Mar 1, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Yes. There’s a small rectangularish extension of the lens near the middle of the visor that allows you to flip it up
