Schuberth SRC System For C3 Pro / E1 Helmets

The Schuberth SRC is a plug and play integrated Bluetooth communication system for Schuberth C3 Pro and E1 helmets. The SRC system replaces the existing neck roll with one that contains a multi-button interface that is virtually invisible to the outside world. This approach adds Bluetooth without negative consequences like additional noise or turbulence. The C3 Pro / E1 SRC System can sync up with eight additional SRC riders spread over up to 1000 meters. Rider to passenger communication is a walk in the park. Pair a Bluetooth enabled smart phone to toggle between phone, GPS navigation and music.

Features:

  • Intercom between rider and pillion passenger
  • Bike-to-bike intercom (up to 1000m)
  • 4way intercom conference circuit (full duplex)

Don’t buy this!
Not only is this a huge waste of money but the constant restarting of both BT and the totally worthless app that is required to connect your phone to comm system will drive you crazy. Never did my wife and I make it through even a short ride with intercom or music. BTW - you cannot play music and intercom at the same time without hitting button on your phone. Often the app gets stuck and has to be restarted. Who has time to do that while riding. Worthless!

how is the SRC system charged and how long does it take?

BEST ANSWER: It uses a USB cable and takes 4-6 hours to fully charge. I get about 1.5 weeks commuting an hour per day.
