He said: "A shot of me after setting up camp at Tropic Resevoir in Southern Utah. We rode from the Grand Canyon through a mountain shortcut of 20 miles that covered water, sand, gravel, and slickrock. We climbed to 6500 feet before descending into Tropic. Epic ride for sure. It was a good 300 mile day covering all terrain. My buddy and I bought new 2008 KLR 650 Kawasaki's and had to get out of the Phoenix area. My jacket is the Frank Thomas "Aqua" that kept me warm while riding into 40 degree temps and waking up with frost on my sleeping bag!”
