Payment Methods
All prices are shown in US Dollars (USD, US$). All purchases from Cycle Gear are calculated in US Dollars only. There are two ways to pay:
- Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express)
- Wire Transfer
Sorry, no money orders, personal checks, C.O.D., or Freight Collect orders. We may contact you to confirm billing details after you place an order.
If you choose to pay through Wire Transfer:
- You may use this method for orders placed via phone, fax or email.
- Soon after placing your order, you will receive an order confirmation email that includes our bank information.
- Contact your bank, provide them with our bank information and request a transfer of funds to our bank. The funds must be in US Dollars and equal to the total amount of your order.
- Instruct your bank to make reference to your full name and order number in the transfer.
Note that funds must be received before your order is processed.
Shipping Service
We ship by USPS Priority Mail International.
The shipping cost to Canada is $24.99 USD and requires 4-7 days in transit. The shipping cost to other countries is $49.99 USD and requires 1-3 weeks in transit.
International orders are not eligible for free shipping, discounted shipping or expedited shipping. Additional fees for oversized items will apply, as shown on the appropriate product pages. Certain items may not be shipped to certain countries, based upon the regulations of those countries. Certain oversize items, such as ramps and lifts, will not be shipped.
Estimated Delivery Time
All international orders are shipped from our California warehouse or our Kentucky warehouse. After payment is received, the in-stock items you ordered are reserved for your order. Items not in stock at our warehouses will be obtained from vendors. These items normally take 2-4 business days to arrive at our warehouses. When all the items on your order are available, your order will be shipped.
Important Notes
Many of Cycle Gear’s products are imported into the United States. Cycle Gear shipments outside the US may be subject to customs fees, tariffs, duties, Value-Added Tax (VAT), etc. Customs procedures and charges vary from country to country and are the recipient’s responsibility. Import costs will be collected locally at time of customs clearance and/or upon delivery and are not included in merchandise price or shipping charges. Cycle Gear does not provide estimates for these costs. Your local Customs office will collect all fees and we encourage you to contact your local Customs office for more information.
Items that we ship internationally are considered “sold”. Cycle Gear is not responsible for any costs, delays, or problems caused by shippers or Customs once the shipment leaves our warehouse. If customs and duties are not paid, goods will be abandoned and no refund given. If you refuse a package that has been received by Customs because you will not pay the tariffs or taxes, we will refund the cost of the product(s) after collecting the shipping fees and additional fees required to return the package to us.
Shipping to a Freight Forwarder:
When shipping to a business within the United States that is going to export the shipment to another country, we require the following information:
- Freight forwarder's full business name,
- Freight forwarder's US address,
- Freight forwarder's US phone number and/or fax.
- Your customer account number/box number (if any).
Exporting:
All orders that are exported are International Orders and require special handling. Even if your billing and shipping addresses are within the United States, please contact our International team regarding your order.
Hazardous or Oversize Items:
Hazardous or toxic items such as chemicals (lubes, cleaners, oils, etc.) and batteries cannot be shipped to International destinations or to freight forwarders who will export them overseas. Additional fees for oversized items, as shown on the appropriate product pages, will apply. Some oversize items (straight ramps, large lifts, etc.) simply cannot be shipped overseas.
