Comments about Motorcycle Cynch With Integrated Tie-down Straps:
I like the design of the "Cycle Cynch". It allows easy, quick, one person loading of my bike without fumbling to get the tie-downs in place. By placing the 'sleeves' over the handlebar ends before I load the bike, the tie downs are right where I need them once I get the bike in place. Then with one hand I can reach down to secure the other ends of the Cycle Cynch straps to my anchors, and that's it. What makes these superior to the "Canyon Dancer" is the design of the 'sleeves' and the quality of the materials. My handlebars have end-mount mirrors making it impossible to fit the Canyon Dancer over the bar's ends (Canyon Dancer has very narrow cuffs that slip onto your grips). However the Cycle Cynch has a larger, open-ended sleeve design that can go right over the mirrors and onto the bars. Additionally, the Cycle Cynch has metal 'D-rings' attaching the straps to the sleeves, placing the 'load' of the strap in a more horizontal direction; this pulls down on the bars more, rather than tugging on the ends of the grips. And the quality of the materials and construction of the Cycle Cynch are also better than the Canyon Dancer. The only improvement I could suggest would be to replace the "hooks" at the bottom of the straps' ends with "clips". That way the straps could be clipped onto the anchors, preventing them from slipping off while tightening the straps. However, this applies to ALL tie-downs in my opinion.
