cyclegear.com wants to put (keep) money in your pocket.
We motorcyclists have an expensive lifestyle (don't you dare call it a hobby!) and with the tougher economic times, money can be tight. Everybody's looking for a deal and while cyclegear.com has great prices to go with our great policies, we realize that we're not always the low price leader. However, we do work hard to keep our customers happy, so if you find a lower (verifiable) price advertised in a local store or online, let us know - we may be able to match that price.
The short version:
If you find a lower advertised price from any authorized U.S. dealer on an in-stock product, Contact Us and we'll work it out as well as we can.
How it works:
- If you see a lower price on a regularly-priced, regularly stocked item in a store or online, call us at 1-800-CYCLEGEAR (1-800-292-5343) during our business hours or send an email to customerservice@cyclegear.com with "Price Match Request" as the subject.
- Guide us to the site or give us the contact information for the store where the lower priced item was found.
- We'll do some research to verify that your price match request qualifies for the Price Match program (see the requirements and exclusions below).
- Once we've confirmed that your situation is in line with our policy, we'll contact you by phone to place the order.
- This policy is available solely for orders placed by phone. Our stores have their own pricing policy.
We have to determine what qualifies for price-matching.
As you can imagine, we have some reasonable requirements for the policy:
- The store or website must be an authorized U.S. dealer of the product you're trying to buy.
- The product must be in new condition - no used stuff, no refurbished stuff.
- The product must be in stock at the store/website in the exact model, size, color and/or year (whatever applies) that you want.
- You can't combine this with any other promotion and/or discount.
- Applicable shipping and/or handling fees will be included when calculating the price difference (that's where some businesses hide costs).
There are exclusions.
In some cases, we just can't match the price:
- Closeout/Clearance items
- Package Deals
- Items on Amazon.com
- Backordered items (but maybe we can book a pre-order for you...)
- Blemished items, demo items and/or factory seconds
- "Free with purchase" items
- Free shipping offers (we have our own)
- Competitor coupons
- Auction sites such as eBay
- Verbal quotes
- "Bro deals" (also known as industry discounts)
The last word:
Ask anyone who has dealt with cut-rate shops and sites - it's often well worth spending the extra couple of bucks to know that you can return something to one of our 100 stores or that we will otherwise fix an issue if you're unhappy with the purchase. Even if we can't match the absolute rock-bottom price of another retailer, it's important to remember that when you buy from Cycle Gear, you're always covered by our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee.
