Comments about RPHA Max/RP Solid Modular Motorcycle Helmet:

I have been riding for about 15 years now, and this is the nicest helmet I've had the pleasure of wearing. The convenience of having the modular face/chin shield along with super comfortable removeable liner, light weight materials, superb craftsmanship and design, and many included extras. The large 3 dimensional "R" decal on the front was easy enough to remove, but probably would have stayed in place if I had wanted to leave it there. Not only did it come with the Pinlock face shield standard, but it also came with the Pinlock lense, a couple of extra screws for something, and a velcro extender for the chin curtain. This helmet may not be the VERY best helmet you can get out there, but I would say that it holds it's own against helmets in a $600 price range. If I could make one improvement for convenience sake, I would ditch the D ring chin strap for something a little easier to deal with while wearing gloves. I do have to say that the little red strap they have on one of the rings helps though. Chock full of features for the money... A solid value and 9/10 in my book.

Comments about RPHA Max/RP Solid Modular Motorcycle Helmet:

fit is disappointment to other to hjc's fits, peripheral vision needs improvement, although better than solar modular. When you open the front, outside visor always closes, needing to be reset upon closing. Front visor lock, always a distraction 3/4 inch black square in center of sight line, with internal visor control, slide movement, back top of head, 2 1/2 inch motion, push button release located ahead ,and ventilation scoop forward I find my self searching by feel looking like a monkey scratching my head , also pressure from liner makes my glasses uncomfortable , for the money a great disappointment. All three helmets are same size 2XL Great fit on other two best I have felt in 41 years of riding rpha max comes up short
