Compared to a 1.3 Cowhide jacket, this suit seems a tad thinner though I cannot find any specs on actual thickness.

The Zipper pull is small, so it's slightly harder to use than pulls on Joe Rocket suits. It also contacts where the perforated leather meets the grained leather, sometimes making it hard to fully zip up.

Zipper is YKK, but not as smooth as other suits I've used.

CE Armor is thinner than that found in my 7 Year old JR jacket and much thinner than the one found in my First Gear riding pants.

Cuffs have velcro at the end, but isn't adjustable. So in gauntlet gloves, they will poof a little.

    Product is made in Pakistan.
Overall, great gear for the price. If it had a shoulder plate (it does have shoulder armor), and was a tad thicker, I'd be extremely happy with it.

I hate to say this but I am completely dissapointed at this line of product Cycle Gear has chosen to represent. Frank Thomas was a great brand compared to this Bilt deal. The quality of the leather and the saddle cloth material. This was the first time I used this suit and was not aware that it was not made of leather in the saddle area like all other reputable brands. This is the first time I see this. I experience this first hand when I low sided on the track and the cloth desintegrated resulting in a bad butt rash. Please make yourself a favor and don't buy this brand. Please spend more money, you will be getting a quality item and not endangering your physical integrity with this low quality suit.

Comments about Trackstar One-Piece Leather Motorcycle Suit:

I bought this a few months ago and have used it a few times. I am still learning the art of twisty riding despite being little older then most who would be learning, with that being said I feel more confident knowing when I do go down, I have better chance of preventing serious case of road rash. I am going to the track (newbie class) in April so looking forward to that. I had difficult time finding a size that fit me because of being odd size (5'10" 160 lbs)so I went with size 43. It's snug in chest and arms as it should be, but in bulky/loose in buttock area. I changed out the stock knee sliders with alpine-star ones, and the elbow pads with Knox ones. I wear a chest/spine protector so I still have the stock back padding. I am thinking of using the old knee sliders, and putting those on the outside of the thigh area for extra protection

Good suit having had to test how protective it is and don't intend to. It is a littlestiff but iI've only took one ride in it so far.

Overall a nice suit...fits well too! Only ding would be the Velcro wrist fastener. Don't get me wrong, many higher quality suits have these as well. I'm just not a fan of Velcro.

Great fit, comfortable on the bike, well constracted with good protection. Particularly like the collor and sleeve material and closures.
No break in neccesarly. The back hump is an unusual feature for a suit at this price.
