Comments about Armadillo Knee Guards:

These knee guards are not very comfortable. They get the job done however and are better then having to wear heavy riding pants. If you can afford some more expensive/nicer gear do it. If you are on a budget however I would say go for it, they are cheaper then doctors bills.

Comments about FIELDSHEER Armadillo Knee Guards:

If you're under 5'7", then even the S/M size is going to be too large for you. I'm 5'3", and ended up returning them after a few uses. The armor is also very thick, and only fits under loose fitting pants. Once you're on the bike however, they fall into place and feel much better. The main issue I had was constantly having to remove my pants to take them off. If you're going to be riding all day, you may have a better experience. But for on and off riding, it just becomes inconvenient so you're stuck wearing them all day. At least riding pants have a level of comfort, and they also provide more protection. My advice would be to get these just to have some sort of protection until you can get some proper riding pants.
