Comments about JOE ROCKET Blaster 2.0 Leather Motorcycle Pants:
I had to wait a few weeks after purchase before reviewing these pants because they arrived well before my road trip. It wasn't long by some people's standards, but 280 miles on an uncomfortable seat can seem pretty long, even with regular stops for stretching.
But this isn't about the seat, it's about the pants. It's important to note that I got the perforated version of these pants, and good thing, 'cause this ride was done (both ways) while a heat advisory was in effect: the ambient temperature was in the high 90s F (mid 30s C) and the humidity was thick and heavy -- the kind that will have you sweating just standing still wearing shorts and a t-shirt. Nonetheless, not once during the ride did my legs feel hot or uncomfortable in any way. OK, my legs were a bit sweaty when I arrived and finally took the pants off, but they are leather for goodness' sake!
And now that my engine guards (a.k.a. crash bars) have arrived (yes, after the trip, but that's another story and nowt to do with Cycle Gear) I can get me some highway pegs and expose my legs to even more air flow.
