Comments about DAINESE Avro Leather Motorcycle Jacket:

The jacket is every bit worth it's cost. I know the adage "you get what you pay for" is a bit cliche, however this is very true when it comes to Dainese products. The fit on the jacket is spot on. I am 6', 175lbs, and wear a 42. With no liner, just a t-shirt, the jacket started out tight; add the liner, tighter. Upon wearing and breaking in the jacket, I can now wear the liner and a long-sleeve t-shirt with a snug fit (as it should be). The shoulder plates are very solid and set perfect on me. The same goes for the forearm guards. You CANNOT go wrong with this jacket!

Comments about DAINESE Avro Leather Motorcycle Jacket:

It fits great and fits the body armor nicely. Dianase left just enough room in the jacket for protection. If it is warm you might get a little clammy which makes the liner stick to you a bit.

After I bought the jacket, I wore it around my house to try and break it in a little. Once it was broken in it fit great.

Comments about DAINESE Avro Leather Motorcycle Jacket:

It was time to upgrade after years with my NYC jacket. While on a basejumping trip, I saw a Dainese back protector save a friend's life! So I knew I was getting one of their jackets...

The liner feels extra smooth. The shoulders seem to form fit to you, and the protection feels more than adequate. zippers and clasps on the outside are well made and seem like they would last. After slipping my back protector in there I felt like I was wearing the most comfortable armor I ever tried on!

Then I went for a ride...At 35 I could not ride comfortably with jacket half open as with other jackets. It pulls too strong.
Freeway speeds cause severe buffeting, including being pulled across the lane more than once. Didn't even know this was possible.

Also very delicate on inside. Every time I take it off two of the four snaps come undone. The other day I took it off quickly and heard a loud rip. 6 inches of the mesh inside the arm is now torn.

I still wear it around the house, hoping to break it in and have something change for the better. Other than that, I wear my previous jacket instead.

I should note I'm on a naked bike, perhaps if you have more of a windshield these issues would be irrelevant and you would have a comfortable and well protected jacket.
