As a motorcycle newbie, I was becoming frustrated with the difficulty of finding a cost-effective and comfortable helmet to replace the ICON Domain 2 that came with the bike I bought. Particular gripes were that I usually wear eyeglasses -- for which most cost-effective helmets seem to have no accommodation, and that my head seems to be somewhere between a Small and Medium -- meaning S helmets are often too tight and M helmets often too loose.

That was until a helpful employee at our local CG retail store introduced me to this helmet. The size S fits great (although I've been wearing it for several months now and the cheek pads are still just a bit tighter than I would prefer). Very importantly, I can easily wear my eyeglasses in it when not wearing contact lenses.

I greatly appreciate this helmet's features such as the breath deflector and (especially) the chin curtain, which sometimes have to be purchased separately for more budget-oriented helmets such as this. Weight seems typical for its polycarbonate construction as far as I can tell, and yeah, it's a bit noisy but not significantly more than the much higher-end (at the time) ICON Domain 2 that I was using. No obvious complaints regarding comfort or ventilation, despite southern CA's desert temperatures. I've not yet removed the liner for washing, but it appears that won't be any more difficult than usual.

My only gripes are minor. Ear space is slightly inadequate, as a couple other reviewers have mentioned -- for me it's particularly my left ear for some reason. And I didn't expect to use the interior sun visor since I only ride during the daytime and use a dark smoke face shield, but I do find myself using sometimes. I just wish that it came down lower on either side of the nose bridge.

For those of you who, like me, will purchase tinted face shields: the mirrored face shields look great (I tried both the silver mirror and gold mirror) but they don't have the anti-fog coating and they fog up MUCH more easily. I bought the dark smoke anti-fog shield and it still fogs up a bit in colder weather, but our climate here is fairly dry so it usually clears pretty quickly once I get rolling.

The bottom line is that this is an incredibly well-featured helmet for the price, and I hope I can find something this good in a few years when it's time to replace the one I have now.

Helmet fits snug. Lots of padding. It's a little prone to fogging and a bit heavy but other than that it's great.

Comments about Vendetta 3 Destroyer Full-Face Motorcycle Helmet:

Amazingly comfortable helmet, probably the most comfortable i've ever worn. The problem with it is it is SO LOUD. My ears would ring for half an hour after riding with this helmet. That being said, the noise comes from ventilation so it would be a great summer helmet. Also, noticed some "halos" around lights while riding at night - i'm told due to the anti-fog coating. If you ride with ear plugs or don't mind riding with them this is a nice helmet.

Comments about SEVEN ZERO SEVEN Vendetta 3 Destroyer Full-Face Motorcycle Helmet:

Not a bad over all helmet, the visor was scratched when I bought it an scratches easy. Its not the lightest one out there but is not bad. It is hard to tilt my head all the way back when in tucked position, the back lip hits my back.
