Comments about RIVER ROAD 2010 Cruiser Leather Motorcycle Jacket:

After looking at a variety of jackets for a few months I settled on this one. It has an appropriate amount of padding (forearms, elbows, shoulders and back) for this style of jacket. It is very well made and consists of thick durable leather weighting 5 lbs. without the liner. I really like all the zippers for ventilation. It allows me to wear the jacket on warmer days that I might not normally wear one.

It feels a little stiff and bulky new but I'm hoping that over time it will break-in and become more comfortable.

Comments about RIVER ROAD 2010 Cruiser Leather Motorcycle Jacket:

I have looked at a lot of leather jackets and I found this one to be one of the nicest for the money. I would put this up to just about any $500 leather cruiser jacket any day. Before this I purchased a couple of other jackets from some popular leather and motorcycle web sites. All of them were of very poor quality and absolutely no consistency in sizing. This was by far the best of them. The leather is fairly soft and does not look like vinyl like some other leather jackets I have tried. It has plenty of ventilation, but I would not wear this in 90 degree weather.

As for sizing, I would say it is pretty accurate, but maybe a little on the small side as the jacket is more of a tapered euro fit. The 42 fit with plenty of room in the chest, but was a little tight in the stomach. I don't have a Euro body... ended up exchanging it for one size up because I felt it fit a little to tight. Being a cruiser style jacket, I wanted it a little loose.

I only have one complaint - the sleeves are a bit short and do not adequatly cover the wrist. Makes it difficult to cuff under glove and exposes wrist.

          Great

Comments about RIVER ROAD 2010 Cruiser Leather Motorcycle Jacket:

Nice jacket that fits great, the sizing numbers are accurate. I wear 42, ordered a 42 and it fits perfectly. The style is neutral and should go well with just about any bike and presentable enough to run errands in.

The removable padding is made up of form fitting medium density foam which is comfortable and doesn't puff it up much.

The leather looks good without any marks or patches, just good thick leather with a nice grain to it. Waist is adjustable, black hardware, pockets, various vents, adjustable wrist openings. I like the collar, I've had trouble finding a jacket with a normal collar. Most close all the way around your neck like you're going racing while the other extreme are the cruiser jackets with the big collar flaps and all the chrome hardware.

Very pleased with my purchase and I can't wait to plaster it with bugs!
