I used it when it was warm out but despite it being a half-helmet, it still doesn't have enough ventilation. It also creaks when you put it on which doesn't exactly inspire any confidence and it has a terrible pressure point on the top right side. Yes, I readjusted the padding inside but that hardly helped and, no, my head isn't shaped funny. For the record, I've never had this problem with any other helmet (cheap or expensive) and I've had at least a dozen helmets in my 26 years of riding.

Great value on a DOT helmet

Comments about Roadster Open-Face Motorcycle Helmet:

I'm a daily rider, commuting to & from work everyday. This is my helmet. It's DOT approved, yet lightweight. It doesn't feel like you're wearing an anvil on your head. The padding is comfortable. I was afraid it would fog with only one vent, but so far, I only get the slightest tiny fog patch at the very bottom edge of the visor below my nose - and it's never grown to enter my field of vision. I was pleasantly surprised, too, to find that that one vent up front could be so efficient at keeping my head pretty cool on warm days. This is a great helmet for the money.

Comments about BILT Roadster Open-Face Motorcycle Helmet:

I really appreciate how well this helmet took a hit when I went bouncing down the road after a fall. I was impressed on the sturdy construction. It did not crack and barely got marred from the accident. I was very well protected when my head hit the road. When I got up and took off my helmet, I did not show any bruising or receive any physical harm to the head. THat is what I want in protective gear, protection!

The staff at The Louisville,Kentucky store were excellent! I could not ask for any better service!
The helmet was just as I thought it would be and will be used often ,especially for the retro look on the retro bike around town. Nice helmet. Daily commuter and or passenger helmet.

lots of padding around the ears so using a "clear connect" bluetooth is difficult as the microphone is integrated with the ear speakers.
