1) I must reitterate: The instructions are absolutely useless. If you were to accidentally light them on fire before first using the tool, you might actually be one step ahead.2) Price - for [$], I would expect Snap-On (or at LEAST Craftsman) quality tools. I liken these more to Harbor Freight's "Pittsburgh" brand of knock-off everything. But, I will admit, given that the product worked, it should pretty much have paid for itself after two or three uses, so I guess I shouldn't complain TOO much...3) And last but not least, if you're breaking tips and turning them into things that resemble question marks, please start over...in life. With the way this tool is designed, when used PROPERLY, it is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to break the tips!!! The main hollow bolt that you put the tip in is designed to act as a GUIDE for the tip. If you put the tip in and make it protrude from the bolt before snugging the bolt up to the chain, the tip is almost guaranteed to break.

Product broke on first use; the anvil used when riveting a new pin for my new motorcycle split in two, well before the riveter had finished it's job. Couldn't complete the chain riveting with the tool, which was problematic since my motorcycle is my only transportation.
The pins are of average quality, and pin holder and C clamp portion of the device are of decent quality, but the anvils are pure junk and made of cast metal of very low quality and hardness. Instructions were very poorly written, and included very little information of the various techniques/uses which can be employed with the tool. Very disappointing considering it costs the same as a Motion Pro kit, which is of much higher quality. I can't locate the receipt, so I'm forced to buy a replacement kit; this time I'm going with Motion Pro from another retailer.

Comments about Chain Breaker and Rivet Tool Kit:

This was my first chain/sprocket change and it was not possible without this tool. I tried several other methods of flaring my rivets, to no avail. 5 minutes after this product arrived I was done and back on the road. Wish I would have just bought this to begin with. Great price, great product. Ride on!

Comments about STOCKTON TOOL COMPANY Chain Breaker and Rivet Tool Kit:

I was in a bind and needed to change out my whole drive train because old worn out chain and sprockets. The chain had already stretched past the point of moving rear tire back to accomodate. This kit had everything in it i needed to break the chain and to put the new one on, not to mention it was a decent price.I fully expected to pay more. That being said if you have never used one before, make sure you read the instructions. There are tutorials online that could be easier to follow with video if still uneasy about it.

The instruction booklet will be useless if it gets wet, so try to keep it somewhere else.
