After seeing this online, I called my local store to see if they had one available. There was one left so I had them hold it at the counter until I got there. Once at the store, I looked it over to see if it would fit my needs.

I commute every day and carry very little. My biggest item is my 15" Macbook Pro that fits in the laptop holder perfectly. The velcro strap that holds it down can be a little longer but it does hold just enough to keep it secure. I keep a power supply at the office and one at home, so I never really need to take one with me, but if I did, there is space for it. For the comments that mention the lack of pocket space, I can somewhat see that, but for the average person, I would say that there are more than enough.

The helmet pouch is a nice touch because I no longer have to hold on to my helmet or leave it with my bike. It does not swing around and is very secure. My lid is a Bell RS-1 in Medium; I'm sure you can fit a large without a problem. When you aren't using the the helmet pouch and/or if you never use it, it can be used as extra storage.

The lumbar and chest straps fit nicely and do not make things uncomfortable. I especially like the lumbar strap because it has pockets on each side where you can store your ID's, insurance information or whatever other small items. I personally have a digital tire pressure gauge and things to change a flat (with the sticky worms). On the other side, I keep a blade, insurance card and emergency cash.

Needless to say, this bag does fit my needs. If there was anything I would like to see different about it, I would say that that I wish it had a built in CamelBak. If I was on a casual ride without my laptop, I could use that space for one... other than that, it's great!

My primary use for this product is to transport my laptop to and from my office which is 55 miles round trip. The bag has many pockets to carry cell phones, power cords, mouse, and other small office items. I wished the bottom part did not protrude out so far where it is able to hit my rear seat cover (Ducati Diavel) but I guess that was the only way they could design it.

The bag is not aerodynamic and I would not recommend sustained riding speeds of 75+ MPH with this bag as it puts a strain on your back. I live in Texas and our toll roads are 85 MPH which I use when commuting to my office so you get the picture.

I would recommend you use this bag for commutes around town or campus. I want to try the Ogio Mach 1 or 5 bag as those may work better for sustained high speeds but my computer is a Latitude E5530 which does not fit in those bags.

Comments about SEDICI Sicilia Backpack:

This backpack works great for my comute to work. I can pack a lunch, my keys/badge, my 7" tablet, Phone, and items I would normally carry in my purse. The straps adjust so it's comfortable and non-binding and very light.
The only improvemnet I would make would be to give it more compartments/pockets.

    Comments about SEDICI Sicilia Backpack:

By far THE most comfortable bag I've ever had! Feels like it hugging me. Very Durable. I'm still finding pockets and gizzmos to use. It would be very cool if it offered a back/spine protector(even removable!).
Also nowhere on the packaging, tags, bag, or online description, does it say it's water/rain proof. Ipads & notebooks the concern, bikers know rain can come quick, a lot of time with no place to pull over and hide. I would just like to know if it is.
I really really really hope it is rain friendly.
