I absolutely love this backpack, I use it almost everyday; to and from work, on trips (short or long). I can carry my laptop to and from work, also keep a tire patch kit in the tool storage that I have had to use. I could go on all day about all this various things you can carry in this bag. all in all this is an amazing backpack and can't think of any bad things to say about it.

i have had this bag for 4 months now and the stitching on the inside of one of my compartments has already tore out. i will be looking into whether or not i can send this back to icon for repair. if it were not for this i would rate this product very high. lots of storage and compartments but for [$] i need it to last longer than 4 months.

Comments about Squad II Backpack:

After 7 months of usage the stitching is coming apart on the shoulder and chest pieces. This seems to be a common problem with those of us who use it on daily basis. Backpack looks great, just isn't functional for long term use.

Comments about ICON Squad II Mil-Spec Backpack:

It was a great bag at first, lots of rooms and pockets. after about 3 months the seam on the inside front pockets started to come apart. was not too worried about it since I've had bags do that before because of the thin fabric inside. then the reflective started to crack and separate. took some heavy duty fabrics and replace the one spot that the reflective started to break and come apart. but just as I was riding today the strap fell apart. Bag started to flop on my back like a fish on dry land. with just one shoulder strap being the only thing holding my bag to my left arm. it's a great idea for a bag. But the sewing thread that they use for it wears out to easily. not a great bag for everyday uses.

Comments about ICON Squad II Mil-Spec Backpack:

I bought my first pack in November, the reflective material was tearing by the end of december, so cyclegear exchanged it for another. After about a month, the pack began to tear in the same place, so I took it back to the store again and it was exchanged. After less than a week the lining between the main and outside pocket came unstitched. I returned it and got a ogio pack. 3 backpacks in 3 months, bad product. (cyclegear's service was great through all of this). I really wanted to like this pack, large, hi viz (i ride in rain/fog/ at night), but at [$] it should last more than a month

Bought this bag to stuff everythng I need for work(lunch, uniform, shoes, extra visor, etc.) I've had this bag for over a year and it has been awesome. The only issue I have had is the material between the main and small compartments has ripped at the seam.. Has held up to my daily abuse...

i use this bag at least twice a month, to ride to and from work. i have no complaints and niether do the gate gaurds at the base i work at, except the front vest part rides alittle high. but other than that its very comfy and can fit alot of stuff.
